Same here. It seems as if they have taken the money and folded.

Yep, same problem the last FOUR times I tried to call friends in New Zealand, which means I'm calling in the small hours of USA Eastern time (about 0200 => 0400). Tel3 is becoming unusable. I've been with them long enough that I've saved MANY times my remaining balance, they owe me nothing if they fold, but it will be a great shame. Of course, there is no indication of where the problem with the busy circuits occurs - I suspect it far more likely that it's somewhere in NZ where the circuits are at capacity.

Been w/o service since Mar 26 -- 8 days. 'All circuits busy call back later'. Need phone access for emergencies, both CS numbers inoperable. Filed report several times got emails back 'will receive an answer' -- never got anything. Have $121 tied up but real concern is not being able to call if an emergency!!! Customer for 13 years. Filed report with 'Trust Pilot' -- suggest other customers do the same. Can't believe only 4 people have complained -- is it working for others?

It is frustrating. I had the same issue for quite a while. But this morning, I managed to get a line miraculously through the toll free access number: 1-800-9995090. Give it a try! Good luck!

Over a month for us with no service -- $121 in the hole. No response from the company after we're tried all sorts of ways to have them respond. Agree it's time for them to explain and restore our service.

I don't think that there can be any doubt after this length of time that they've gone belly-up. I'm now using Boss Revolution.

I have been a Tel 3 customer for years with no problem. This year it has been increasingly frustrating to get an accemssn number until it ism now impossible
I understand that they changed carrier from ATT which is when the problems started
    I too have $100 + with them

Tried in the past week several times to make international and domestic long distance calls.  The local number and the toll free numbers didn't work.  All circuits are busy no matter the time of day.

Someone mentioned Boss Revolution as an option.  However, it is a cell phone app.  We make long distance calls from an old-fashioned, always reliable landline.  So it wouldn't work for us.

I decided to send a message through this webpage today.  Will post here if I receive an answer.  Sorry to hear about those of you who cannot even call out or who have a large balance with this company.

Have tried for some time to find an option to tel3 using a landline.  There doesn't seem to be anything available.  Ages ago, we we started using this dial around service there were many options to choose from.  Not anymore.

Will try to get some more information from myTello, which doesn't require a cell phone or downloading an app.  In the meantime, see below:

    https://www.mytello.com/en_US/

Hopefully, the issues we're experiencing will be resolved SOON.  Thank you for your comments, which show that we are not the only ones experiencing these problems.

It was me who mentioned Boss Revolution as an alternative. Your statement that it is only a cell phone app is, or was, simply not correct. Both I, and the friend who pointed me at Boss Revolution, make calls via a landline. I suppose it's possible that they're not taking on new landline customers - that's why I'm hedging my bets up above. However, if you want another dialround, you can always try OneSuite (http://www.onesuite.com). They are substantially more expensive for international calls than Tel3 used to be, but at least they're still in business.

I think the chances of the problems we're all experiencing with Tel3 being "resolved SOON" vary from no chance whatsoever to slightly less than that. I think it's a racing certainty that Tel3 are no longer in business, and that as soon as their current subscription for their domain and/or to their web host runs out, these forums will stop working as well.

So, Brian, did we all lost our money? I downloaded Yolla and my calls for Germany are clear, great connection. Still loved more Tel3, maybe I was just use to it!

I think the only chance you have of getting any money back is if you used a credit card (rather than a debit card) to pay, and you go after the credit card company. In my case, I didn't have enough money on my account for it to be worth the hassle.

Thanks Brian, it won’t be worth the hassle for me too. Just very disappointed, kind of trusted Tel3

Four days later - no response from customer service.  I used to get a response within 24 hours.  Still trying to find a good option to Tel3.  Have any of you had any luck?
